Interviews
I was born on September 15, 1974 at Kings
County Hospital in Brooklyn. My parents
resided in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn
until we relocated around the time I turned 7
years old, we moved into the East New York
section of Brooklyn's Cypress Hills Housing
Projects where I attened all of the
    neighborhood schools P.S 202, IS 218 and
then I went to East New York Transit Tech
after taking my GED test and failing it by a few points I rethought my actions
and returned back to school to granduate from Richmond Hills High School in
Jan of 1994, two years after that I went and signed myself up to John Jay
College Of Criminal Justice. I eventually grew tired of the city life packing my
family up and moving to North Carolina's Raleigh/Durham area and this proved
to be a good move because this is where I homed in on my writing ability. I
started writing in 2004 and wrote 15 novels by the time 2006 rolled around, I
published my first book in 2007 which was Through The Eyes Of The Streets
and then I published a second in July of 2008 which was Didn't See This
Coming. Now with me self publishing I knew I had to come correct because
presentation is everything in today's society and I knew with me going on the
strength of my own writing abilties, I had to take the world by storm I had to
come correct and present myself to the world the right way, because I don't
know if you know how hard it is to approach a complete stranger and offer
them some of your work to buy and them not knowing anything about you
and they are willing to separate with their hard earned cash is an
accomplishment within it's self, but I got tired of waiting and wasting time waiting
for phone calls to come in from publishing houses that never were going to call
anyway. So I took action and got on my grind and I have been ever since,
within this time that's gone by I am still working on more novels and trying to
finish them up. I am currently working on several big projects for Nikki Turner,
Bill Dukes, Oprah Winfrey, and BET network. My ultimate goal is to turn every
last one of my novels into a motion picture.
