Didn't See This Coming by S.C. Dickens had me on the edge of my seat the
entire time. I enjoyed how you never knew what was going to happen and to
whom. The irony of the title truly fits this novel to the tee. The storyline was
great, although it was definitely not what I thought the book was about when I
started reading. I loved the characters, and the topics covered everything from
homosexuality to drugs, and that certainly added spice to book. Dickens did a
great job relating real life issues and showing the consequences of trying to
make a quick dollar. You can never underestimate what a person will do for
their family and the risks they are willing to take.
